Festival of light

The school organised a festival of light today, with the children walking through the paddock to a bonfire where they sang songs and celebrated the light inside everyone.  Unfortunately I was stuck at work but Nikki braved the cold and chaperoned the wee ones in the dark.

Speaking of which, the little lady said something amazing to me this morning.  As we were getting into the car, she said "Wee and we are homonyms"

"What!?" I exclaimed.  "That's amazing".  Nikki only taught me about homonyms when I was 35.  My girl is learning at 2!
