Cafe Royal In Red

Monday morning again – and it was quite a chilly Monday morning. I knew it was going to be cold in the office and it was – but at least the heating didn’t go off in the afternoon, so it probably wasn’t quite as cold as it has been recently.

I went out for a  quick wander to John Lewis at lunchtime for the sole purpose of getting warm.  That and some soup from the canteen definitely helped.

I worked late to get on with some stuff, knowing that I have to leave earlier than normal tomorrow. When I got home BB was mid-homework, having already done his cello practice.  He then burst into song and sang all the songs they have been learning for their Christmas show, which was really nice.

The Café Royal has been lit up in red.  I’m not sure if it has anything to do with Poppy Scotland.
