Crisis

It has been a hectic day.

A crisis at one of the big local businesses has created a lot of media attention.

At about 12 noon The Boss whisked me out of the office to go with him for a TV interview at one of the business' sites. My job was to brief him (in the car) on possible answers to likely questions.

He thought STV would just be recording something for possible use later. Turned out he was live on the lunchtime news. The BBC crew was there too, and a newspaper reporter.

Then it was back to HQ to help out with a press release and an audioboom clip for the radio stations.

I did the legal work for the current owners of the company when they did a management buyout of it in 2001. I hope they can find a solution.
