THE HORSE

In the morning we both got our second tetanus jab. The next will be given in one year from now. I had already forgotten how upset I had been when I thought that the little wound I had from the rose could do me harm.
In the afternoon we drove to the Diemelhoehe. Superb weather for a walk over the wide plain with views to the south.
For the ponies I had brought some carrots, and I gave each the same amount. Still one them gave another (and this happened to be the one with only one eye) some nasty kicks.
