Progress Report on Megan
Megan, our vizsla puppy is now over 4 months old and I thought I should bring you up to date with her progress. She is growing apace and as you can see she has already reached about two thirds of Zoe's size. At the weekend we meet up with a group of other dog walkers and they are all astounded how fast she is growing.
She is now well on the way to being house-trained though we still have the odd accident when she has become over-excited indoors. Thankfully her 'mad half-hour' in the evening where she goes bezerk is also less evident partly because Margaret takes her for a short evening walk. Her size is now such that she can easily stand on her hind legs up to the dining table and the kitchen worktops to see what goodies are there to behold and try and pinch, Our next training task is to persuade her to go down and stay down so we can establish some sort of equanimity to our meal times. She plays really well with Zoe and pesters her constantly. Every so often we have to intervene to give Zoe some peace.
