And very pleasantly so.

Did a whole day of graft in the flat today, a proper pre-spring clean. Place is now spotless. I even put new handles onto the doors, which was one of those DIY jobs that really does take six times longer than you think it will.

Still, all the good effort was well worth it, and rewarded myself with a Chinese takeaway. Had lemon chicken Peking style. Haven't quite worked out what was different about it from normal lemon chicken, but no matter what the differences, it still tasted brilliant.

Now I have a newspaper cull to start, and I can't wait.
