Winter cometh

We have eventually turned on the heating of an evening as it is clear that the season is changing with the colder evenings. However, woke up this morning to a fog - clear sign of winter looming. Walking the dogs this morning over the field made us wrap up warm, wooly hat for hubby (not much hair!) but didn't stretch do far as needing scarf and gloves.
Bit of a shock whilst over the field to see a pony and trap looming out of the fog!
You never know what or who you will meet on a walk.
