Dead Tree

We met up with our son, daughter and her husband and granddaughter for coffee this morning - and sat for ages in the coffee shop just chatting. Our son had brought along some Lego for our granddaughter and she sat and played with it. As expected, our daughter has acquired a new puppy - he is a Bedlington terrier. Blip photos will follow - when we get to met him!

After we finished there we dropped our son off at home in south Leeds and then called at a supermarket on our way home. Just a couple of bits to fetch.

Late afternoon I took Finlay our for his second walk - just as the sun was setting. As I have had a few morning blips recently, I have gone with a shot taken late in the day. This dead tree is being lit by the orange light and I though it stood out nicely against the sky. It looks as if it is being held up by the ivy growing around the trunk.
