Sharpening Shop Talk

My woodworking club held a "Shop Talk" session in a member's shop this afternoon -- one of the larger shops -- see extra. The subject was tool sharpening. Several members set up a demonstration of their favorite method and answered the many questions from the rest of us. 

All woodworkers search for the perfect method, but that's like searching for the Holy Grail. It doesn't matter how you do it, but it's important to do it well, and to do it often.
