Farmer at Work

The walking group set off from the Albert Town swing bridge, crossing the Hawea River (one extra) and walked along the true left of the Clutha River. Another extra is of a lovely bend in the river. Main pic: this farmer was moving a line of irrigation heads (?? - ‘thingies’) from one side of the meadow to another. There were perhaps a dozen or so of them all strung together behind his tractor. A tough life, I think. Anyway, the sun shone and a wonderful day was had by all.
