Shell Tree

Walking along a quiet section of beach today, we spotted a tree that had been adorned with shells of all sizes and shapes.

Some people have also been bringing out pieces of string to enlarge and enhance their shell decorations.
There was even a small bird's nest made from seaweed placed in among the branches.

There were no notes or signs indicating the reason for the shell tree, and we couldn't believe this was the first time we ever noticed it.

Perhaps, rather than a wishing well, this is a wishing beach tree, but who knows?

In any case it was a fun and unusual find.
