Travel companions

We departed Wales via a trip to our Great Aunt's where we also acknowledged the minute's silence for Remembrance. My Great-grandfather lost his life only a week into his service for his regiment in the battlefields of France (additional).
We then stopped off for lunch in Cardiff with The Step-daughter and girlfriend. We had a lovely lunch and catch up with them both before travelling back a 'new way' for The Mother. She actually preferred it to The Valley's exit! It was much quicker.
I was very much amused to see that Li'l Sis' had brought her 'Lullies' along for the journey! One of them was bought by myself whilst The Mother was pregnant with her, 12 years ago! The other was a replacement when we thought the original was lost! She still clearly loves them dearly!
Home to unpack and catch up when The Other-half before sorting some school stuff.
A tiring but lovely weekend.
