The Mail Rail

We met in London under the Kings Cross arch for a day out. We had tickets to ride on the Mail Rail at the Postal Museum. After a spot of lunch we walked down there and headed underground.

The Mail Rail was quite narrow because it used to transport mail bags across London for the post office. Lines ran as far as Paddington and Kings Cross. Now a small section has been opened as a ride on attraction for tourists. We squeezed on and had a great time. Well worth a visit. A few more pictures here, no tripods or flash so everything was shot at 6400 ISO!!
