Extremely moving

In the Minster after the march a marine read out an extract from a tank advancement back in 1942 at El Alamein. Utterly bizarre as details of enemy kindness were placed against horrific deaths, each as matter of fact as the detail around waiting for more bully beef to arrive and alleviate the boredom of dry biscuits.
