Watching from above
I rested Breagh and Pip today as they are pretty tired and sore from the last couple of days of gathering. Because there are only two of us out the hill the dogs cover a lot more ground. So today I had Shaw out as it was relatively easy field gathers and she's been desperate to join in. We are watching and waiting for husband to bring the main group out the gate. If you look closely you can see them bunched together at the gate. We have mineral bolused and fluke dosed all the ewes and separated them into their tupping groups and put the tups out today at the farm where we manage the livestock. A long day of juggling sheep here and there so we could get them all where we wanted them.
Then home and walk dogs left behind and ready for our hour long phone interview with The Scottish Farmer as they will be featuring us after our part in the TV series This Farming Life. Trying to wind down now.
