Now what do I do with it??

When DogsTrust first talked to us about Hendricks, they told us he showed no interest in toys. (We didn't think there was necessarily anything unusual in that; in 10 years with us, we could never persuade Vinnie to be interested in any toy.)

When  he came to stay with us, we soon realised the opposite was true; Hendricks loves toys. And if he doesn't have one to hand he'll improvise with any "toy" he can find, notably slippers...

For his size, Hendricks has a pretty small and dainty mouth and he's not very confident about picking up anything except the smallest toys, but we're working on it. This is him with one of Abby's old toys (she was a Great Dane), a sort of spiky (and occasionally squeaky) rugby ball-shaped thing. Once in a while he does manage to pick it up, but most of the time he runs at it, whacks it with his paw, noses it, jumps on it, .... Oh well, he'll get there! :)
