Vet Visit

Today was the day for Minstrel's health check and immunisation booster at the vet's. Not his favourite event in the yearly calendar, as you can imagine!

Last year he had a bad reaction after the vaccination. A lump appeared on the back of his neck which required further investigation and more vet visits for him not to enjoy. Because he is a full time house-cat and doesn't come into contact with cats who could carry feline hepatitis, we were fortunately able to omit that part of the vaccination - the most likely cause of his problem - this time.

Also today we have watched lots of World cup Rugby League. I've seen loads of good players I'd like the Warriors to sign, but sadly the days of us actually buying players instead of bringing them through the ranks to sell on to other clubs if they reach a good enough standard to make the chairman a few quid are long gone...
