Long shadows

This morning was pretty wet and windy, but the weather forecast was spot on, and about three o'clock, the sun came out and it was  glorious.
On Blip the other day, MikeS mentioned a little tea room called "The Hideaway", so we searched it out - we'd never have spotted it if he hadn't mentioned it.  We had an excellent refreshment break there - Earl Grey for me (loose leaf as well!), and coffee for C (which he said was very good indeed) and a chunk of pear and almond cake to share - delicious.
