'Ere be Faeries...
OK, so maybe there aren't any fairies at the bottom of the garden, but with such an enchanted setting, you'd be forgiven in believing there could be in amongst the native bush and volcanic boulders.
A busy day in the garden meant the planned trip to Magnet Bay was put on hold for another day. With the keen easterly rising through the day, maybe the postponement wasn't such a bad thing.
The day on the property did give me a chance to tidy up our river frontage though, both by trimming back the long grass on the banks as well as getting our 'beach' ready for the swift approaching summer (the place where our hammocks are set up, just a few yards upstream from where this was shot).
Roll on the long balmy evenings...
Tomorrow sees me return the Canon 5D Mk II back to it's rightful owners and the return of my Nikon kit. It's going to be hard giving it back, I've enjoyed the full-frame and extra pixels. Best get saving....
