Highly Commended Subject Matter

This morning I visited the Fremantle Portrait prize in the Moore & Moore building in Fremantle.

My wifes god daughter had a photo accepted...one of 60 from the short list of 641. In fact it was one of only 6 highly commended.

Her daughter the subject of her photo was also the subject of mine.

It was a really enjoyable morning and an exhibition from which us rank amateurs can learn a lot. I was fortunate to also have one of the photographers as my guide...and the subject of the portrait.
