It's best to stay local on a sunny Sunday,  otherwise you risk getting stuck in traffic or unable to get a parking space. So I left the car at home and walked around the corner into Stock Ghyll Wood. 

I thought this threesome made a good photo ......... a couple enjoying a hot drink from their flasks and a photographer with wellies, a big rucksack and a tripod (with just one leg extended) paddling around in the beck.
