The Joy of retirement (2)

My mate Roy and I went for a factory tour of Triumph motorcycles, on Friday. For anyone interested in that sort of thing, it's a real eye opener. 63% of all the components are made, in house and the machinery is mostly CNC. They have a museum and the oldest Triumph is pre- 1916. Steve McQueen's bike, from the film, "The Great Escape" is there but as you may know, he didn't do the jump, over the barbed wire.
    Because of our age, we were able to visit at the drop of a hat, not having to book a holiday,from work ! Should have retired 20 years ago!
