Remerance Sunday with Maddi....

Very proud of our Maddi Moo as she was flag bearer for the Brownies, and she carried it with great pride that she was chosen for this honor.
There were a great number of folks attending around 800 up at Lower Gornal Memorial Hall and at Zoar Church. We had two services one at the Zoar Church and one at the Memorial Hall, all the names of the fallen were read out, all from Gornal from the first and the second world wars.
She wore her Great Grandfathers WWII medals.

We met back at the British Legion for refreshments and then she went home with her mother, very tired but very proud and happy.
