Azeleas

An early morning trip to the Botanic Gardens to catch up with what's left of spring. I'm only just back from the northern hemisphere so have missed out on daffodils and the other spring bulbs. Great to see the new, pale green growth on deciduous trees, the mark of spring in Europe, North America and gardens of New Zealand. The azaleas are only just out, still many buds to unfurl, but I liked the fresh colours.
