Fallen frond

Walked up the stream in Belmont park. Managed to keep my feet dry for three quarters of the time, then slipped in, and wished I hadn't bothered trying to keep dry, should have waded in at the beginning and saved the trouble I went to!

The stream was quite full, as it rained yesterday, and sticks and fronds had been washed down.

this is a frond from a punga tree fern, the new fronds are just starting to come so the old ones are falling off.
