Tonight I came home with sixty-one clicks in my camera, I sat on the sofa and narrowed it down to thirty-six images. I feel I could have posted anyone of the thirty some photographs and with a little post-processing I could have come up with an image, a good image, to post on The Blip. I wish there were rules or guidelines for what constitutes a good photograph. This would be a great help to my inability to make a decision, the plague that has haunted me all my life, good or bad, hot or cold, sweet or sour, beautiful or plain.

But on second thought, part of what makes my art distinct from other artists works are the choices I make about what pleases me and my eye. Still, the options I am faced with make the selection process difficult, even bordering on the impossible. But I guess that is part of what being an artist is all about, this sets oneself apart from other artists. My decisions make my images mine and mine alone.
