Veterans Day Parade

It was a beautiful sunny morning and, being Saturday, there was a great turn out for the parade to honor our local veterans.  It is always held on November 11 so it usually falls on a weekday and the parade isn't well attended.  I don't think I've ever blipped such a busy collage but I thought it captured the feeling of the parade better than I could have done with one or two images.  Piper and her dad are in the upper right corner, he is a Vietnam veteran.  It was great being among all those people who gathered to honor our vets and our country and there was no political agenda!
