Breathless

This exhibit in the science museum is based on the idea of working class brass bands being crushed under changes in industry. It references how the bands exist yet the community and industry that gave rise to them doesn't. The underside is black signifying that they are a shadow of their former selves. The title breathless fits the fact that these are crushed and that there is nothing left to play.
