A Day At The Races

Not for me, but for our son Chris, his friend Steve and Steve's Mum. I'd arranged to pick them up from Wincanton racecourse at the end of the afternoon. While I was waiting, highlights of the racing were being shown on the big screen and I managed to get this shot with the silhouettes of a few punters standing in front of the screen.

Chris et al had been celebrating a win or two (more than can be said for Yeovil but least said about today's game the better!)

Apart from that it's been a mundane day: shopping, putting a satin sealant on the bathroom door and knocking up a lamb and lentil curry. It's been the sort of weather that demands a curry.
