The first of the season!!

My first Christmas carols! And my first Mince Pie!!

A cold, wet day so gave the leaves a miss again (they're mounting up out there!). Instead I went along to support my mum and her colleagues for the recording of the local Talking Newspaper's Christmas magazine, a mixture of carols, Christmas poems and readings. The team of volunteers provide a free service for approximately 100 visually impaired listeners, creating a weekly mixture of news and magazine articles. It may seem early to be singing Christmas carols, but the recordings from today need to be edited, ready to be sent out to listeners on 15 December. And after all that carol singing, we all deserved a Mince Pie, or two!

Then... Back to Bath and the RUH! Despite all our hopes, Dad wasn't discharged today, the doc said at least another day. Home just in time for Strictly and a large glass of red! Or two!!
