Manchester remembered

My tram trip into Manchester came to a sudden and unexpected halt just short of Piccadilly Gardens

I wondered why, but then realised it was 11.00 am and the driver had stopped so he, and his passengers (well most of them anyway), could observe the 2 minute silence.
