Islands

Islands in an ocean of mist that seemed to stretch all the way to Ingleborough. If not islands, then the backs of whales as they surface for air then dive again.  Another fabulous sunrise seen from the top of Arnside Knott, and the start of a beautiful late Autumn day.

This was the first of three walks with Gus, and in between I managed to chop some firewood. I'm getting fitter day by day.

I'm posting this at half-time in the Wales vs Australia match, but it's following a predictable formula, alas.
