What prompts the powers that be to re-paint the road markings? Whatever it is that triggers it, they were out this week re-painting the white lines on the junction between Bath Street an Straiton Place. I guess it does make it clear who has right of way as the through road actually goes round the corner and not down the last bit of Bath Street, although in practise most vehicles coming down Bath Street and turning onto Straiton Place or vice versa seem to act as if they have right of way over someone coming up from the bottom of Bath Street. Should the white lines have been painted to reflect that instead?
