I Couldn't Resist!

I saw these ‘terrier’ book ends in a local art gallery in town, and simply had to buy them!  They seemed reminiscent of the 1950s.   Although I was born near the end of that era, I thought they would be perfect to book end the last few children’s books that I have remaining from my childhood.
Our bookcase in the lounge is getting rather overfull, so I’ve pulled these out, plus a few others and put them in our newly decorated spare bedroom, and the terriers are doing a grand job of keeping them in place.  I hope my step-daughter may enjoy having a browse through them when she comes to stay.
