Armistice Day

I don't usually do pictures of remembrance day not for any other reason than I'd prefer to do an uplifting landscape. Today was wet dull day though and I didn't have great hopes for anything uplifting so I slipped down to the war memorial in the village for a quick pic of the service there. 

I had thought I would post the black and white one but I think I prefer this view as it takes in a little more of the scene and it didn't seem so suit a mono conversion so well. I've posted the mono with selective colour as an extra and you can decide which you prefer.
