Mersey

Elevated view across the mouth of the Mersey from Liverpool to New Brighton. Foreground shows the industrial area between the Pier Head and Seaforth. Across the river we see New Brighton, the fort at Perch Rock and the Lighthouse. The background highlights the ever growing wind farm, there are hundreds of these and I think the rig is used to prepare the river bed for yet another. Grandson B celebrates his 18th birthday today. He has deserted us and headed off to Birmingham with a close friend to celebrate. We had an early celebration yesterday with him.
