This SallyLightFoot crab is one of hundreds, no...thousands we’ve seen. They are all over the rocks in close proximity to the water. The juveniles are a very drab grey color so they are well camouflaged since at that stage their shells are soft and they are a Favorite food source for birds and Sea Lions! Adult SallyLightFoots are brightly colored, warning predators that their shells are very hard and not easy to eat.
