Under the A1 / Millerhill / QMU
With due thanks to Mr Smith; who inadvertently sent me off to seek out a Cigs that wasn't a Cigs but then the deeply entrenched dogged determination kicked in and I went and sought one out anyway.
After a fun filled action packed Friday, I'd arranged to meet Baz for a tea time pint in Porty. Seemed as a good a chance as any to check out Smiffy's spot at Prestongrange. As the spoke went ping at the Levenhall Roundabout I just *knew* it wasn't ging to be a Cigs. But I went the extra (half) mile and was sadly proved right.
But I still had a good hour to kill before meeting Baz. I could just go early and sneak in an extra bonus round or I could have a nose about... Option 2 led me back to QMU adn the possibility that there are underpasses and railway bridges that almost certainly attract street artists. So passing the most easterly Cigs, I pushed the bike up a muddy track and eventualy ended up under the A1. And indeed..! A Cigs, In Blue. Dated 2015. Without risking the £200 fine for railway trespass I had a nose about and couldn't see any others, but there's another side so I may have to return and check it out once the spokes have been reinstated.
So the first pint disappeared quickly; the second was more sedate. It's thirsy work this Cigs malarkey.
