Wabi-Sabi
This weekend, we'll use a metaphor for vulnerability, the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, where “all things are either devolving toward, or evolving from, nothingness.” We live in a culture where conventional beauty and perfection are prized. If we, and everything else, are in a constant state of wearing down, how do we stand in our own worthiness? How do we let everything be worthy?

So off we went this morning to visit a photographic display from a local Photographer who has followed the Wellington Free Ambulance service for some years. We viewed some stunning, very unsettling  and truly emotional images on display and on the way to the Green Expo which was also running this weekend The Boss fell (sorta) over this door and thought it might fill the definition. The Green Expo provided the extra with this wonderful gown made from 1000 plastic bags from all over New Zealand. The Boss was extremely attracted to the Nissan “Leaf” MK 2  all electric car which included a solar panel on the trunk which kept the control systems charged but purchased at another market some non organic and sugar containing  mint liquorice nougat instead. The Bossess would be proud of him….
