What's the lingering smell in the air?

It is start of the durian season.
Visiting this part of the world without tasting the king of fruit - durian,  is just not right. 
So we did.

It is definitely an acquired taste.
Some say it has a texture of custard, smells of a combination of cheese, anchovies, garlic and unrresistable wanting more please. Whilst others would stay well clear of the fruit.
