It's Christmas!

Well, it's Christmas at Waddesdon Manor - and probably every other similar venue that plans to draw the crowds.  The decorations in the House and grounds are understated but interesting - less of a Wow! factor but more of an interest into what's been done and how it's been achieved; I think it will go down well.

Today was the day for briefings for all staff to give us the opportunity to hear about the theme and see everything ahead of the public.  Bearing in mind the constraints that go with a property of this type, the management have done a great job of meeting as many needs as are humanly possible.  This year, the grounds are far more 'dog friendly' with only a few areas banned to our canine friends, and there is a lot to see over the grounds and no-one should go home feeling they haven't had a good time.

If you have plans to visit it's best to book your tickets as soon as possible. Waddesdon Manor is unique - you can't really compare it to other properties.  I love it!
