Glamour

I've struggled with this weeks challenge but remembered today that Mum had a selection of the most beautiful indian saris. I think there is such a glamorous aspect to the wearing of saris. Yards and yards of beautiful fabric draped around your body in a way which makes all women look elegant and serene. These came from both India and Malaya. Most of them were brought back by my great aunt who was a Dr and a missionary and were left to Mum however the beautiful red, pink and gold one is 100% silk and Mum bought it when she lived in Malaya. She has little blouses which go with them.
We also found her wedding veil :)
