Peebles Collage

Went down to Peebles for a jolly on a chill but sunny day. We had coffee in Simply Delicious, a tour of the charity shops, and, having deposited our purchases in the car, took a walk along the Tweed from Hay Lodge Park as far as Neidpath Castle. In the park are two benches with delightful dedications - Gutterbluids refer to people born in Peebles, Stoorifits to those born elsewhere; I have yet to discover the relevance of the robin.

On our way home we spotted a sun halo, by the time we arrived it was merely a pair of sundogs.
