Mystery Solved

This morning we found out what the huge holes that I did NOT dig along the path to the oak meadows were really for. Fresh black soil had been used to fill the holes, and a row of yet unplanted trees had been placed on top of it. I bet they're oaks. Mum guesses cherry trees. We'll see when spring comes.

There are disturbing signs that a diet of some kind is soon going to happen in this house. I am slightly worried...
