Birthday Girl

A technological disaster means we have no photo of the birthday girl blowing out the candles on her cake. But never mind.

Having had her main present on Saturday, we still did opening in bed at 6.20am so Eldest could still get to college on time!

It was all very closely timed for tea - I had to be out for Brownies and Eldest was late back (just for a change) so cake was a rushed affair.

Brownies was almost a disaster - our planned activity at an external venue was scuppered when the host forgot! Luckily I knew the Guides had a Body Shop party and would be in early so we ‘borrowed’ their back room. In a ‘win-win’, the forgetful host has offered to redo the activity but for half the price, hence no naming of names!

After Brownies it was onto the Body Shop Party as both my girls were involved. I will confess that I mixed Body Shop and Avon up so was a little thrown by the lack of cheap stocking fillers...
