Items to the rescue!!

I spent the day sewing with my U3A group, hand sewing the binding on my wall hanging featured in yesterday’s blip. I’m now ready to do the eyes, claws and other bits and pieces. Will do those on Saturday.

This evening I went to another quilting group. The programme said ‘practical evening’, wasn’t sure what that involved so to be on the safe side took my trusty little tin. It contains needles, pins scissors, thread and other odds and ends. A special tin bought at the Air Force Museum of New Zealand in Christchurch a few years ago.

We made the patchwork pieces that will be a decoration when it is finished. I took my ‘all around the houses’ wall hanging, for the ‘show and tell’. It was well received!!

Then home to see B and the dogs, we have 3 tonight, and a gin and tonic!!!
