A shady character!

I spotted this guy lurking in the tree in the car park this morning but he wasn't too keen on coming into the sunshine.

I saw the consultant this afternoon and have to have an MRI on my foot.  He thinks that I have a tear in my plantar fascia where it attaches to the heel, and is fearful that the scan will also reveal a pocket of fluid inside my heel bone.  I was told to expect to leave wearing a cocoon boot the next time I saw him!  He did say I should be back to running next year so at least that will be something to look forward too.
