Another difficult day
Following daughter’s admission to her local hospital the staff decided having viewed her blood tests from the afternoon and giving her pain killers she could be discharged. By the time wife got daughter home she was once again in agony.
A phone call to the hospital she had been to resulted in a less than helpful try 111 again. Wife was not happy so I went to sit with the grandchildren while she took daughter to Northampton A&E. She was seen by four doctors within the first couple of hours and it was decided to admit her only there was no bed, so she was in a chair in the corridor. Wife arrived back at 4 am to be with the grandchildren and I came home to deal with the dogs (they were very pleased to see me!)
Today we’ve been occupied with children, schools and hospital. We had a call mid-afternoon to say she had been sent to the discharge suite to await her meds and could then go home. By the time wife arrived to collect her, she had had another pain episode so they have decided she should stay another night in hospital. In the meantime I got kids from school, provided tea and await Nanny’s return and then we’ll decide the overnight and morning logistics.
My contribution to Abstract Thursday (natural surprise) is a cloudscape (natural) and twirl filter(surprise – well to me), which was done in a bit of a rush…
