"Enduring eye"

Exhibition of the photos taken on glass slides by Frank Hurley the photographer on Ernest Shackleton's 1914 Antarctic expedition. Here the negative shows the death throes of the Endurance crushed in the ice and I like watching huskies. He had to break and dump 400 slides keeping 150 to save weight when they left the ship to her fate.
