Rescued and released

A colleague in the aisle next to mine at work found a cellar spider among some of the tinned food that had been delivered. Most of my colleagues know to alert me when that happens, which is exactly what she did. Unless I've forgotten to put it back in my bag after it has been used, I normally carry a small container with me, just for those occasions when something needs to be rescued and captured. I managed to get the spider inside the container and released it on my balcony when I eventually made it home after my shift.

Many thanks for the kind comments and stars on yesterday's Coot blip. I apologise for my own lack of comments again, but I should already be in bed as I have an early start in the morning. It'll be the last of this week though as I have a few days off from work to look forward to after Friday's afternoon/evening shift.
